[soren doesn't quite know how to cope with what's being doled out to him. the woman's voice is more like a ringing in his ears, something he follows along to as he pulls on his new clothes. he doesn't quite know how to respond just yet, either that or he hasn't found his voice. instead, he settles in with the bread and coffee and refuses to leave.

it takes a lot of gentle urging and another cup of coffee to push soren out of the house. he stands awkwardly outside, both hands holding onto the mug of coffee. he squints into the scenery, overwhelmed by the sun and lush, green hills. he sees others stepping outside, too, and some have already walked toward the town. anyone else would take the hint and follow, but soren decides to sit on the edge of the house and watch. he watches, and that seems to be the only thing that he does.

it may taken even more urging to get him to move his butt any further. he's a hermit at heart, and this change has him rather frozen in place.]

[so he's finally made it to the castle. maybe someone dragged him along, maybe he snuck in quietly by himself.

he has no idea what he's doing, and while his friendly face shows a smile once in a while, it's laced with discomfort and the vibe of "when can i leave". he stays a wallflower and won't budge unless heavily urged forward by someone who doesn't take no for an answer. as the night goes on, however, soren manages to find a drink or two, and he becomes a little more outgoing. a little is a lot for soren, though, so for him to make conversation with anyone is a huge milestone.

he sidles up to anyone who happens to be nearby, holding a glass of wine(?) in his hands.]

Hey, um, do you know what they're talking about? Do you think we have to dance?

[expect a lot of weird jokes from whatever conversation he makes.]
